After an extremely hard, emotional Thursday last week, Friday turned a new corner for Jack and myself. It's been such an incredible time having these moments to share and spend with our boy.

There is this book that Kip's mom and dad gave us when Jack was born called "The Clothes Horse" by Janet & Allan Ahlberg. One story from that book "Life Savings", is about a woman who saves hours or days from certain years of her life in small boxes. She opens them up and relives those moments. 5 hours from when she was 4 years old...2 weeks from teenage years....10 hours when she was older. I feel like I have been given back the gift of time with my boy. It's hard to imagine how life can take you so far from enjoying the simplest things. The things that make your heart smile, the things that make you feel.

Last night, Jack was reading a text that Kip sent him, I don't know what it said, but he was crying with joy. I said to him, "You have always told me that I am the glue that keeps us all together, but it's you Jack, it's always been you. He said, "I know". Then we had a good, happy cry and proceeded to watch, I now pronounce you Chuck and Larry - We are laughing sooooo much these days! I hope you are too....we love you all
